2 mins into the walk the rain turns CRAZY and my umbrella was useless.

Everyone's driveways turned into waterfalls and every bus that passed moved the puddles from the street to my person.

New Grand Atlantic clip

I just finished a new music vid for local Brisbane band Grand Atlantic. It was Directed and Produced by Craig Proudley and co-directed and animated by yours truly ^-^
It's inspired by '50s horror films in an animation style sparked from MK12's "Man Of Action".
Many of the buildings are just from downtown Brisbane. The US of A landmarks... not so much.

Just click the big blue header to be hurtled through cyberspace to my new and darn special gallery index. Everything is up (bar a few items that I have to get from Woomp once it's back up). There's quite a bit of new stuff up there too.

On a quick Photoshop note - why isn't the wonder that is Luma Selection (⌘+⌥+` ...or ctrl+alt+tilde in Win) clearly documented?!?
Had I have known of this little trick sooner it would have saved me HOURS of angst fighting with linework, transparency and those nasty artifacts...

Reworking the galleries (and a decent sized post)

Here's a few new pics; this one's a bit more finished (ie coloured) than my usual fare,
maybe it's time I put more time in...anyhoo, I've slightly changed the
header up there and added a big link to my galleries - it's taking you to
Woomp at the moment but that will be all
changed once I've finished making my own - easy to find and navigate
gallery. It'll be up soon... with new work in 'em too! ^_^

This pic I did up this afternoon; "The End of a Day's Work".
The poor guy was working on a model ship and ...well, you can
see it's gone and broken on him. I'm really getting used to
working entirely in biro and then just tweaking that in Photoshop,
seperating the linework into layers that are colourable.

I'm finding that I have a running theme with dashes of colour
behind a characters head... and I seem to dislike drawing
any backgrounds don't I?

version of the animatic is completed. And while my quality of animatic
production isn't up to public display here's the opening shot;
pitch black - then "click", the narrator turns on the moon.

Hello Black brow

Black brow is finally up! - That's the team name of myself and my sound designer Chris Perren - we make films. Check out the 'places' on the right if you want to see more.

And it turns out that after literally tens of thousands of downloads, Black brow's icommons film (on the right also) has been translated not only into French, but into Hebrew, German and... i think it was Spanish.
