Reworking the galleries (and a decent sized post)

Here's a few new pics; this one's a bit more finished (ie coloured) than my usual fare,
maybe it's time I put more time in...anyhoo, I've slightly changed the
header up there and added a big link to my galleries - it's taking you to
Woomp at the moment but that will be all
changed once I've finished making my own - easy to find and navigate
gallery. It'll be up soon... with new work in 'em too! ^_^

This pic I did up this afternoon; "The End of a Day's Work".
The poor guy was working on a model ship and ...well, you can
see it's gone and broken on him. I'm really getting used to
working entirely in biro and then just tweaking that in Photoshop,
seperating the linework into layers that are colourable.

I'm finding that I have a running theme with dashes of colour
behind a characters head... and I seem to dislike drawing
any backgrounds don't I?

Hmmmm - what did I say the first time
(when the comments got lost in the ether!!!)
    It was something like....
As I've said before I LOVE the relaxed poses you give your characters.
So much character is expressed in their bodies. And the faces = so stylized yet
with a real liofe of their own.
The colours are wonderful. Subtle yet full of life. The lack of background
is perfect - you hint at environment nicely. (And I would say that the
Ophelia pic DOES have background. Just coz it's not highly
detailed and rendered doesn't discount it!)
